When I was writing this article, I was waiting eagerly for the New Year to knock in. This wait for the New Year took me to the memory lane. In fact, a new year’s eve is the time when most of us look back to peep into the past and also look forward to a hopeful new year. It is the time when we are tempted to make calculations about the resolutions we started at the beginning of the current year and how we lost track and missed those resolutions. Still, we are hopeful and again ready to welcome this year too with an interesting list of resolutions.
Let’s see those common resolutions that we can start our new year with and believe me, if you make even a little conscious effort, you can achieve most of them and make your life happier.
Spend quality time with your near and dear ones
I know most of the people miss those lovely moments that life has blessed all of us; spending time with family and friends. Due to overrunning schedules, you may often ignore the importance of being with family. And I believe this is the reason most of the people are in stress all the time. Now this is the time when you can start rebuilding your lost relations.
Follow a fitness routine
Again, most people ignore their health and fitness being over busy with all the important and unimportant priorities of life. However, following a fitness routine should be one of your most important targets in your life. Only a person with healthy body and mind can live a fulfilled life. Include a fitness regime in your schedule.
Healthy eating? What is that? Ooh! Most people think that eating a rich diet is healthy eating. In fact, eating right food according to the needs of your body is healthy eating. Make a promise to avoid junk food, fried food and all the food items that are unhealthy for your body.
To enjoy the world, it is important to develop the wanderlust and explore newer regions. 2015 can be a year that may open new windows for you to see the beauty spread all over the world. If your budget does not allow you to have a luxury vacations, you can opt for budget travel to enjoy raw appeal of the regions.
Learn a new skill or art
It is quite fun to learn new things all the time. Promise to learn a new skill or art to make your life more interesting. But keep in mind that every skill you learn may not earn you money. Still, learn whatever you love, just for your happiness.
Become debt free
Burdened with debt? I can understand, having a debt to be repaid does not allow you to have a relaxed life. This can be a year to become debt free.
Give up on a bad habit
You may have a bad habit that is ruining your life. You may want to get rid of but you could not. Now, this year, take a serious resolution to leave a bad habit for the sake of yourself and your family.
8. Positive approach to life
Being positive is one of the pillars of strength. You might have lost your confidence or trust in life and acquired a negative approach towards it. But, you also know that it is not the end of life and you can achieve a lot more. It’s just that you have developed a negative approach. Now, change your attitude and be hopeful for the better.
Remove all the clutter from your homes, offices and lives. Promise to be more organized in this year to have a clean, clutter free surrounding to allow you to be more productive
10. Finish the incomplete
And last but not the least. This is also the time to take resolution to complete all those unaccomplished resolutions that you took last year but unfortunately you left them midway.
